Welcome to the 4th annual Barks and Belts K9 5k to raise money for Drive Smart and Evergreen Animal Protective League. Set in the mountains west of Denver, the course begins and ends in Bergen Village in Evergreen at Chow Down Pet Supplies 1260 Bergen Pkwy, Evergreen, CO 80439.

The course meanders through the picturesque Bergen Park area of Evergreen, Colorado.

This year's event will be event better than years previous. Come out and see the changes. Post-race festivities will include refreshments, music, food and pet-friendly merchandise and services offered for your perusal. We are working on a "Farmers Market" look and feel to our event this year.

Why Evergreen Animal Protective League and Drive Smart together? Well, why not? Both are respected nonprofit organizations that strive to make our mountain home a better place to live and play. Their respective messages and goals are universal and, in coming together to raise money for both groups, we are creating a partnership that can bring together people with diverse interests to create a more cohesive community.

The 2015 Barks and Belts 5K is pleased to support the youth groups:
